Your Local Food Guide

Looking for a local farm or famers market? We got you covered! Madly Good designed the 14th Annual Local Food Guide for the nonprofit, CORV. The Central Ohio River Valley (CORV) initiative is a grassroots effort to connect community members with local growers and fresh, healthy local food. It aims to promote self-sufficiency, sustainability, and the wise use of resources. The 28-paged guide includes extensive listings as well as articles all centered around the theme of “resilience”. It lists local farms, CSAs, farmers markets locations and hours, wineries, breweries, restaurants using local food and so much more!

History of the guide
At a fall 2007 gathering at Imago Earth Center, a group of individuals concerned about the environment met to discuss local food resources. Several of these eaters of local foods saw the need for an all-inclusive directory of resources. This desire brought community members, farmers and staff from local non-profits together to produce the 2008 Eat Local guide. A second edition was completed in the spring of 2009.  And now they are in their 14th year. Imago, a nonprofit, mentors and financially houses the initiative.

As we work to help support local food initiatives, we were thrilled to help with this year’s guide and bring it all together. Download yours today and make sure to visit your local farmers’ market this summer!
